I went out with Tish and Edmen to MidValley, a welcome break from the all too familiar trips to Jusco. Was at the train station by 9ish. Then we left. We reached MidValley and then left to shop (Yes, guys shop too, shocking, I know) We were walking around to just about everywhere as Edmen serached for his pc game Left4Dead2 and I searched for Heavy Rain, a ps3 game. We ended up going to every shop imaginable (excluding the lingerie shops of course, heh) Had lunch at Madam Kwan's. Went all the way to KL and had nasi lemak =/ But the nasi lemak was awesome =) After that, Tish and I decided to go into the infamous sex shop there. It brought back memories of how Kelvesh tried to get into the shop a few years ago, and the guy asked him, " How many is your age?". Well, we went it in and the guy never once questioned us and asked if we were looking for anything. I saw a hairy condom, whatever that means =/ Tishaan and I became men today =p Edmen chose to not enter that shop. The Edmen got some Body Glove tshirts and Left4dead2. I got left4dead2 2 (See what I did there?) and Counter Strike : Source. Tishaan got some Body Glove tshirts. We noticed many chicks there using shirts with very few buttons buttoned up. It goes without saying that any guy would have been distracted with what was on display. We, er, exercised =p. We had some enery boosters at a juice bar, Tish and I had a drink called Lychee Coller, and Edmen had a drink which was wayyy to thick to be humanly consumed. Had another bite at Secret Recepie, which isn't a secret anymore. Finally, since both Edmen and Tish never had fresh Subway, I suggested we eat there for dinner and took their Subway virginity away =) Came back tired. Spent alot of money today, but the time spent with close friends is priceless =)

Something I've been eagerly anticipating arrives tomorrow, I shall tell you what it is when it does arrive. I've been following Kelvesh everywhere over the past week, since he just got his license. We were in Jusco everyday with the exception of Wednesday. And guess who decides to show up in Jusco on the one day we dont go there? Fly.fm. Ah, the irony. In other news, I'm on a pool hot streak, although I've been very lucky, I haven't lost in awhile (losing to people who claim they're british does NOT count) , so bring it ON =) Went to Wee Ru's open house. I was saving up for a Razer mouse so I chose not to gamble. We went to the Al Wazer in town and had 3 layer tea ( You gotta try it). Also went to Jason's open house. I ruled at Fifa10 (Yes I'm very modest) and scored the most goals (Now if only I could do that in real life). I did gamble at his place and made a double digit profit, not sure how much though (One hand was particularly funny as this guy bet 50 bucks and ended up with a blackjack, which would've netted him double, which would have been 100 bucks. However, the dealer, who were Toh and Bernanrd got a 15 and 'ran' , leaving the poor guy with nothing =P ) Finally, I quit Sushi King (Yes, mock me for my feeble spirit if you must) and have applied at Starbucks, who pay much more. So let's see what happens there.

My Future

I'm not sure if I should go to Adelaide or Langkawi. Each have it's respective pros and cons. Should I go there I would end up with a license that has better recognition globally but should I stay here, I would end up with better local job opportunities. I gotta think this through.

My First Day on the Job

So yeah I started working in Sushi King yesterday. How was it ? In one word, tiring. I've been in hibernation for wayyy too long and doing all that work all of a sudden ran my batteries dry. But I'll get used to it. So what happened on my first day, well, Matthew dropped by, and he ended up being the first customer I took an order from, so I did ease my nervousness. Plus, he may be the only tipper I ever get. I had only one fussy customer who asked for hot green tea. In sushi king, we have a choice of hot or cold green tea, and she wanted hot. But apparently, the green tea I poured her was not hot enough, luckily there was a new batch being made so it was alright. In Sushi King, you get as many refills of green tea as you want, so you gotta go around asking people whose cups look empty if they want some. I asked this one guy, whose english was particularly bad if we wanted a refill. He stared at me, and then passed me his plate. Working for long hours can be particularly stressful though, mainly because Sushi King is almost always packed. There are these two annoying twins who are wayy to serious. Theresa was def annoyed with them and may have wanted to stab them with one of the large knives in the kitchen =p One thing I learnt from my first day, it's never a wrong time for sushi. The restaurant was only quite empty from 4-5. Other than that, Sushi King was always quite packed, and on occasions, full. I mean, if people love raw fish that much, go to the market and buy some fish, go home, cut it up and eat it. It's already quite a handful on a weekday, so I fear to think what a weekend crowd would be like. Plus, Chinese New Year is right around the corner, so expect Sushi King to be fully packed. God help me.

Knotted Heart

First sight I fell for you ,
Utterly speechless, words but a few ,
Cause I shuddered to say a thing, to talk to you ,
Knit me a new heart for a desire was born in me, a fire lit anew.

First days, weeks then months passed ,
Unspeakable I was no more, for that didn't last ,
Casper was I no longer, for I spoke to you and found someone special at last ,
Knight in shining armor was I, waiting for the bite on the line I had cast.

For the first time I thought I found love ,
Until reality struck, and took it all away, flying away from me like a dove ,
Carnal rage, carnal love ,
Knight in shining armor now knight fallen out of the web of hope I had wove.

Foolish was I to think you and I could ever be ,
U were perfect as far as I could see ,
Call me dumb but I hoped, for you were the apple on my apple tree ,
Kite that was flying high in the sky now crashed into the sea.

For I am hurt, hurt like never before ,
Unparalleled pain runs through my veins rocking me to my very core ,
Cause I cant blame you for how you feel, for my heart you unintentionally tore ,
Knotted heart, forevermore.

So I'm over my temporary PMS phase and I feel awesome =) So I thought, why not post a review?

Paranormal Activity

Now I heard all about this movie back in October of 2009 as it released during Halloween (Malaysian censors took some time to understand it as it was in English). What I heard was it apparently was marvel at the box office, costing a mere $ 15,000 to make and yet grossing well over $ 100,000,000 in the US alone (For all you idiots out there, basically, it made alottt of money)(Btw, the US is a reallly bigggg place), even humbling the likes of horror movie juggernaut Saw (Although to be fair, that was Saw 6, and 6 in movie years is 85 in human years, leaving it all old, wrinkly and sagging). Basically, it was supposed to be good and shit scary right ? Wrong ( See, I'm so damn smart I answered a question I asked you). The movie's tagline was, ' Don't See It Alone'. And so I didn't, and brought along a few friends. Unfortunately, the first time I saw the movie, I had a bad hotdog and needed to use the loo, taking up so much time that I missed the entire ending (It goes without saying but sausages are bad for you). So, I watched it a second time with a different group of friends. If this movie was supposed to be scary then I guess I don't know what scary is anymore. The first portion of the movie was boring as hell, not even remotely interesting. You would have been better off just staring at a blank piece of paper for 20 minutes. Everyone in the cinema looked forward to night scenes, as they anticipated scary moments but were always, always left disappointed (You know, like when a guy is about to bang a chick only to find out she has a dick =/). Every scary part in the movie had to be coupled by the word fuck. Ok, I mean I get it, you're scared. But do you have to curse everytime you get scared, every God damn time? It's like, " What the fuck was that? Fuck, what was that . Fuck the fuck fuck that ?". I mean, it was cool when Al Pacino did it, but that was a mafia movie. This on the other hand just seemed weird. Lastly, Paranormal Activity would have been better off as a comedy, although a really bad one (They could have used the same tag line : Don't Watch It Alone). It tried to make people laugh, but it mostly succeeded in being quite lame. The one part of the movie which was even remotely scary was the ending. I won't ruin it for you, but there's a lot of screaming, like imagine 100 chicks having a mega orgasm simultaneously and amplify that a thousand times ( Yes, I exaggerate). It did scare me a little bit the ending, mostly because I was just waiting to be scared by anything at all, and nothing else in the movie did, so when something scary did eventually happen, it was SCARY. And then the movie ended. The tag line does do the movie justice however. Don't watch it alone. You might just fall asleep if you do.

You'll love
  • The ending
  • Laughing AT the movie, not with it.
  • Waiting in anticipation for something scary to happen
    You'll hate
  • Being disappointed when nothing scary happens
  • The sheer boredom of the movie
  • The iffy(gay word for bad) camerawork. Kinda makes you feel dizzy.
